Bio
A bookbinder and printmaker, Katie Baldwin often combines her own letterpress text with woodcut images. Baldwin earned her MFA from The University of the Arts in 2004. She has exhibited at Space 1026, Gallery Siano and Brandywine Workshop, Philadelphia; The Soap Factory, MN; Vain, Oculus Gallery, Arrowspace, and Commencement Art Gallery, WA and Miejska Galeria, Poland. She has been awarded the Barbara Deming Foundation's Money for Women and The Leeway Foundation's Window of Opportunity Grant and residencies at the Experimental Printmaking Institute, Nagasawa Art Park Printmaking Program, and The Center for Emerging Visual Artists.
