Bio
Dean of Tyler School of Art, Temple University for thirteen years, Rochelle Toner earned her BA from University of Northern Iowa and her MFA from University of Illinois, IL. Her work is included in the collections of the Corcoran Museum of Art, Wash D.C.; University of Dallas; TIAA-CREF, MO; Yale University, CT; University of Maine; San Diego State College; and Museo Aeronautico, Italy. Her solo exhibitions include the Philadelphia Print Club, Clarion University, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, PA and Austin College, TX. Her work has been included in exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Nexus Foundation for Today's Art, the Art Alliance of Philadelphia and has been shown in over 100 competitive exhibitions in the United States and Europe since 1970. Ms. Toner has participated in numerous visiting artist workshops and symposia while participating in panels, juries and Boards for regional artistic and community organizations.
