Bio
Born in Philadelphia, Stuart Netsky earned a BS from Drexel University, his MA from Philadelphia College of Art, and his MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. His work is included in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, NJ and the Johnson and Johnson Collection, among numerous private collections. His solo exhibitions include work in the Institute of Contemporary Art, Locks Gallery and Fabric Workshop and Museum, Phila.; Richard Anderson Fine Arts and Lipton/Owens, NY. His work has been included in exhibitions at the Museum of American Art, Phila.; White Columns, NY; Walter/McBean Gallery, CA and Walsall Museum and Art Gallery, England. Mr. Netsky has been awarded a Pew Fellowship in the Arts. Living and working in Philadelphia, Mr. Netsky teaches at The University of the Arts, Philadelphia University of Textiles and Science and Drexel University.
