Silicon was founded upon a unique collaborative printmaking model established by a handful of fine arts workshops and presses in the United States.
While the tools at Silicon are digital, the philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that it is the chemistry between the artist and the printmaker that results in the finest work. This relationship is very dynamic and allows for new ideas to constantly emerge throughout the process.
Silicon has the widest range of printers in the region including IRIS 3047 printers which print up to 34" x 46" on an incredible range of paper and materials. They have three Epson (pigmented ink) printers the 9500, which can print on some exotic materials, the 9600 and the 9800. All of the Epson printers can print 44" wide by any length.
